Dream Closets Hawaiʻi began in a small Honolulu shop in 2005 with a simple belief: storage should be designed around the people who use it. More than two decades and thousands of Oʻahu projects later, that same family remains personally involved in measuring, designing, building, and installing every space.
We do not sell one-size-fits-all kits. Every closet, pantry, home office, laundry room, entertainment center, Murphy bed, and garage system is designed specifically for the client's home, lifestyle, and budget. Our materials are selected for Hawaiʻi's climate, and every project is installed by our own local crew—never subcontracted.

Jonathan Ward
Owner, craftsman and longtime Honolulu firefighter
For more than 20 years, Jonathan Ward has helped Hawaiʻi homeowners turn overlooked and cluttered spaces into organized, functional parts of the home. As the owner of Dream Closets Hawaiʻi, he brings decades of hands-on experience to every project—from understanding a client's needs and developing the design to ensuring the finished space is built and installed with care.
Jonathan believes the best storage solutions begin with listening. Every family uses its home differently, so he takes the time to understand how each client lives, what is not working, and what would make their everyday routine easier. The result is not simply more shelving, but a thoughtful space designed around the people who use it.
In addition to leading Dream Closets Hawaiʻi, Jonathan has served the community as a firefighter with the Honolulu Fire Department for more than a decade. That experience shapes the way he runs his business: show up, communicate clearly, solve problems, and treat every client and home with care and respect.
